2007
Reunion

was celebrated on
Saturday 29 September
at the White Hart Inn, Godstone Green.

Our thanks to Dieter and Doreen who organised
the meeting at the White Hart Inn.
A former Coaching Inn, apparently built at the time of King Richard II,
it has been considerably enlarged and modernised over the years,
to provide a comfortable restaurant and bar areas.
The whole place feels steeped in history, with its massive oak beams,
and many nooks and crannies within this traditional type of pub.
Children are well catered for,
both in the menu and the way that they are treated.
The waitresses are exceptionally welcoming and patient.

Comments:
From Dieter: We enjoyed our get-together at the White Hart very much indeed.
It was good to see you all there and that we were all in convivial company.
Even the children behaved well. Dan, Jo and Louise enjoyed it very much too.

From Glyn: It was an enjoyable lunch with enjoyable company.

From Margot: It was lovely to see everybody once again, and
Richard did a good job to put all the pictures on the computer.
It is nice to stay in touch, once a year at least.
Looking forward to next year's Godstone get-together.

From Gerhard: We both enjoyed the outing to Godstone and it was really nice seeing you all again. Our journey home was fairly quick and uneventful. Afterwards, we noticed in our bones that it had been an exhausting day. I needed a day to recover from the outing and general exertion but Maria is doing fine, we are very glad that we were able to travel to Godstone for the reunion.
